That's why we don't make products that sell fear. And we don't use communication that constantly has to explain why you need more and more. Skincare shouldn't be a source of stress.

Yelf is an independent skincare start-up founded in Germany – not as a trend brand, but as a long-term decision. Our products are developed and manufactured within the European Union in compliance with the strictest cosmetic standards. We believe in substance over noise and standards over claims. As a young brand, we combine clear regulatory structures with an attitude that respects individuality and considers diversity a matter of course.

Focus on product quality: All formulations are developed within the European Union and produced in compliance with the strictest regulatory requirements and applicable EU cosmetics directives. Quality is not an add-on, but a requirement. Our products follow clearly defined principles: effective formulations and high tolerability.

 

Every ingredient fulfils a functional purpose – nothing is decorative, nothing is interchangeable. It goes without saying that we consistently avoid parabens, silicones, microplastics, synthetic polymers, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, artificial colours and chemical UV filters. We also avoid palm oil and only use palm oil derivatives that come from RSPO-certified sources.

Yelf produces according to demand rather than stockpiling, because overproduction not only causes unnecessary emissions, but also additional packaging costs. Every product consumes raw materials, energy and transport capacity. That is why we focus on demand-driven production to reduce waste rather than planning for it.

 

At the same time, our responsibility as a supplier does not end there. Consuming more consciously helps to conserve resources and reduce emissions.
